This Chilean Malbec presents winemaking potential that rivals its Argentinian counterpart. Most notably, Chilean Malbec offers the potential for a rich and robust deep colored wine. One can expect the tannins to be rich and thick. Aroma and flavor fleshy earth and berry spice.
This grape is an excellent candidate for a single varietal Malbec that is noteworthy or as a contributing member of an old style Bordeaux claret blend. Malbec may also be blended with Cabernet Franc and Gamay, as is done in the Loire.
