This fermenter is 30L (just shy of 8 gallons) in size and comes with a lid that has a hole.  The hole in the lid is intended for use with an airlock.  The fermenter has an area into which a spigot may be placed.  In its new state the area is not open and must be opended if the intention is to install a spigot.  Pail may be used with or without spigot.
