Musto works together with Terra Andina vineyards to bring to the United States some of the finest Argentinean wine grapes including the wildly popular varietal Malbec. These grapes are available for preorder typically in February and March of each year with arrival in early May. Vineyard Details “Finca Chayo”

From its privileged vantage in “Los Barriales” at an altitude of 624 m, This vineyard land is part of the famous "Chacra the Barriales" General of the Army f the Andes, Don José de San Martín. These lands were elected by the General in 1816, and decided where to spend the rest of his life after the liberator .. contemplating vineyards and fruit against the backdrop of the Andes .. These lands were purchased and planted by our grandfather in 1943. To irrigate the ancient method of canals and ditches that flood the field with water from the river is used Tunuyan. The maturity of the plants produce a reduced yield per hectare.

Vineyard Details “Finca San Gabriel”

Lands located outside the river Tunuyan, chosen by the native people Huarpe, to live and produce their food, being an oasis and have the most productive land in the region. Our farm acquired and planted by Don Gabriel Lizana, medical profession and grapes maker of heart in 1969 .. The soil is loamy with some sandy loam horizons. To irrigate the ancient method of canals and ditches that flood the field with water from the river is used Tunuyan.

Climate: Dry and continental with great sun exposure allowing perfect ripening.
Vine cultivation: vertical shoot position trellising.
Bunch size: Medium, between 100/150 grs, often winged and fairly loose.
Berry Size: Spherical, small to medium bluish-black color, with thin skin and with soft pulp.
Harvest Brix: 24° to 26°
Harvest details: harvested the fourth week of March. Hand picked in small cases.
Yield: 13,000 kg/Ha.
Colour: bright carmine red.
Aromas: plum and raspberry aroma mingle elegantly.

Altitude: 610 m.a.s.l.
Climate: Dry and continental with great sun exposure allowing perfect ripening.
Vine cultivation: vertical shoot position trellising.
Bunch size: Medium, between 100/150 grs, often winged and fairly loose.
Berry Size: Spherical, small to medium bluish-black color, with thin skin and with soft pulp.
Harvest Brix: 24° to 26°
Harvest details: harvested the fourth week of March. Hand picked in small cases.
Colour: deep ruby red.
Aromas: plum-forward mix of red fruit aromas combine with vanilla notes from the oak.
Yield: 12,000 kg/Ha.

Bunch size: Cylindrical, of medium size, with blue-black grapes.
Berry Size: The berries are small, with blue-black grapes, skin is thick and juicy pulps
Harvest Brix: 24° to 25°
Harvest details: Last week of February.
Colour: Intense ruby color with violet tints
Aromas: The aromas that identify are described as sweet pepper, cedar, currants and spices.
Yield: 12,500 kg/Ha.

Bunch size: Medium to Large, between 300/450 grs.
Berry Size: Blue-black, spheroid, with bland pulp
Harvest Brix: 23° to 25°
Harvest details: third and fourth week of March
Colour: Deep purplish red
Aromas: Elegant nose with notes of ripe fruit as strawberry, black cherry and sweet blackberries. stands a spicy, own note of oak. Entry friendly, juicy, soft tannins, good volume and long finish.
Yield: 12,500 kg/Ha.

Berry Size: small, ovoid and blue color
Harvest Brix: 23° to 25°
Harvest details: Third week of February.
Colour: Bright and attractive violet
Aromas: Fresh strawberries, violets and black fruits. A thin volume and structure on the palate with spicy notes and ripe fruits.
Yield: 14,500 kg/Ha.
