Winners Announced

(Hartford, CT) M&M Wine Grape Company, LLC announced the winners of its Annual Amateur Wine Competition.  This year marked the 20th year for the competition and by all indicators, amateur winemaking is strong and the quality of wine being made is improving.  Robert Herold, co-chair, of the competition noted that this year's competition saw more entries than any other preceding competition.  He also pointed out that a record number of medals were awarded due to the fact that so many wines performed well-enough to earn medals.  In total, 152 medals were awarded.  The M&M Wine Grape Company Amateur Wine Classic is formerly known as the Amenti del Vino Amateur Wine Competition and is also an affiliated American Wine Society (AWS) competition.
