A subtly spicy wine (amaro is the Italian word for bitter) with a deep and rich color, followed by a practically chewy texture on the palate. Lends itself well to the use of oak balanced with nuances of black cherries and a leathery nose.
Alcohol: +/- 13%
Food Pairing: Try it with a leg of lamb roasted with rosemary and potatoes or with chili con carne.
Serving: Between 15 and 17 degrees
Comments: Crisp young wine, but can definitely greatly benefit from time in the bottle.
